On Wednesday, August 9, 2023, Steven Lear, an artist with Railroad City Tattoo in Altoona, Pennsylvania, sadly departed, leaving everybody inconsolable.
His death was announced via social media post by his fiancé that stated:
“I lost the love of my life yesterday… my fiancé, my soulmate, my dearest Steven. This man loved his family and all his children so deeply. He accepted my girls as his own, and I’m forever grateful he gifted me with baby Willie. She will never go a day without knowing him; so many happy memories to share. My heart is so broken, and the world is much darker today.
I love you for eternity Steven Lear. Rest in peace.”
Steven Lear was born in Pennsylvania, but he resided in Altoona. He chose Claysburg Kimmel as his high school, and in 2007 he graduated. He was a diligent and obedient worker for Railroad City Tattoo.
An inherent sense of inventiveness and creativity drives the character of Steven Lear. His intricate designs, which expertly blend numerous elements, reveal his creative prowess.
Everybody is sad and devastated, praying for Steven and sending condolences to him.

Steve left behind his wife, Becca, and his six girls. Steve was a pillar of strength and love and a dedicated provider for his family. He worked tirelessly to ensure his girls had the best opportunities in life, and his love for his family knew no bounds.
Losing a loved one so unexpectedly is something unimaginable. This family will never be the same without him, and neither will anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His children have lost a father who was an amazing dad and a wonderful friend. They grieve for losing someone they share so many precious memories with.
